FAQ

Q. Who are you anyway?

A. The site owner answers: I am a person of mixed heritage who loves and respects her indigenous ancestors and family members and wants to see things made right.

Q. Is it illegal to write on currency?

A. It is illegal to write on currency with the intent to make it unfit for circulation. My  intent is to have these bills in circulation, not to make them unfit for it.  The more they circulate, the more people will get curious and find the site and get educated about the truth of the Indian Genocide. See this page at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. I imagine certain folks will not be happy with what I am doing, but I do not believe it to be illegal. Folks write all kinds of things on bills all the time. Why should my message be singled out? Free speech and all that. AND I would encourage people to be thoughtful  about this. I am fully willing to bear any consequences of my actions.
